The News.
After 2 and a half years we've decided to close the BohoBelle shop in York and go back to online only. Unfortunately a combination of extortionate rents and rates in York, added to the worst recession in living memory means that the shop is not, and probably wouldn't ever be profitable. It's a decision we're very sad about making because we expected the shop would help expand the original business - and it hasn't. The high rents and rates means that we can't be competitive price wise in the shop, another unexpected turn of events. One of the hardest fights we had over the shop was keeping the rents down at a rent review last year. If we'd lost then we would have needed to bump our prices up by over 30% just to keep the shop afloat. We want to be in control of our prices - not our landlords, and I'm sure you as our customers would agree with that sentiment too. Us? Bitter? Nah! ;0)

Bargains.
If you're around York, come and visit the shop - we have a lot of stock (which isn't on the web site) at sale prices, so come and bag a bargain!!

Shop Fittings.
We also have loads of shop fittings (clothes rails, slat walling etc) which we don't require. If you have a shop or a need for fittings, please pop in or drop us a line with your requirements and we'll se what we can do.
